the essence of EN VIVO…

Known for their smooth yet rich quality of sound and energy with their original songs as well as their own arranged favorite cover-songs. As EN VIVO performs, they keep their crowd captivated and moving while also having the ability to touch their hearts with the soul and words of their original music. 

Their history:

In 1994, a group of well-talented musicians formed a band that is known today as EN VIVO, a Latin Style band comprised of six well-talented and seasoned musicians.  They originally formed as “Amigos” and maintained that name for many years and during that time, they released their CD entitled “Spiritual Visions”.

In 2009, sharing the name Amigos with other known bands, they made a decision to change their name to “EN VIVO”, which captures the essence of their energetic and lively sound. 

And now…

EN VIVO, after having stayed a humble local yet well-respected band for many years (as Amigos), they have now embarked on a new journey to spread music; their own EN VIVO originals as well as cover favorites…  Bursting with new songs and a new vision as well as maintaining their great and original style for which they’re known for, the musicians of EN VIVO are proud to present their new identity and reach out to perform and entertain crowds of all types where they will surely please every individual and groups of people that cross their path. 

In January 2012, they celebrated the release of their new CD, entitled “Paradise”- a crowd pleaser and a CD sought out at every show since before its release. Many have compared the CD to the amazing sound and talent of Carlos Santana, a true honor.   And with much excitement and motivation, EN VIVO has begun their new music for their second CD.

EN VIVO has become a favorite of many; fans, venues, promoters and much more.  They’ve been asked to return to play for the Oakland Raiders multiple times and have been told that they’re a favorite of not only the crowd but of the Administrators as well.  There are many other examples like this.

With continued humble and respectful attitudes by each and every musician, they’re known as a great band to work with, hire, book and know…

The EN VIVO experience can’t be described as well as actually watching/listening to them in person.  After which, EN VIVO will be a true favorite…



*EN VIVO was originally formed and known as “Amigos” until their name change in 2009
